    Job Summary


    Our Manager of Social Media will be a strategist who understands how to drive leads through compelling and relevant content and a brand storyteller with extensive experience in all social media platforms.


    Develop social selling tactics that develop referrals, leads and sales using the appropriate social channels for the Vantage audience. Grow the brand and relevancy, generate brand loyalty and build an active audience.

    The person in this role should possess deep digital fluency and understanding of content planning/creation, the role of influencers and the dynamics of brand reputation and community management for a fast-paced, public company.





    List of Responsibilities

    • Develop social media calendar that incorporates corporate initiatives that drive differentiation from our competition
    • Develop a social media selling strategy that drives leads and referrals
    • Develop, implement and manage social media channels to drive specific marketing and sales objectives.
    • Develop social media calendar that incorporates corporate initiatives that drive differentiation from our competition
    • Partner with Concierge team on communications plans and monitor brand and company reputation in order to ensure Vantage voice is consistent across all platforms
    • Manage online tracking compilation, analysis, optimization recommendations for social media and brand reputation. Ensure quality and accuracy of reporting results.
    • Utilize A/B testing strategies to test and optimize programs that deliver against ROI targets while driving and optimizing key performance metrics.
    • Drive engagement through social media strategy utilizing all appropriate channels for the Vantage audience. These may include Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram, blogs and others.
    • Use this engagement to drive new leads and generate demand.
    • Be the organizational expert in popular/cutting edge social media monitoring tools and popular social media management tools.
    • Identify and design effective engagement strategies to encourage Vantage travelers and prospects to coalesce around Vantage travel-related content. Maintain a consistent corporate voice throughout all social media channels and communications.
    • Support current company blog and launch new content channels, including newsletters, to increase qualified lead acquisition and conversion.
    • Additional duties as assigned



    Required Skills and Experience

    • BA/BS with significant coursework in marketing, business, or communications.
    • 5+ years’ experience in digital marketing, with specific focus on social media.
    • Experience in developing social media strategies.
    • Significant experience in analytical tools specifically, Excel.
    • Knowledge of platform-based analytics platforms such as Facebook Analytics.
    • Strong knowledge of social media strategies, services and tools (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram, Flickr, Linked In, Glassdoor, Indeed blogs).
    • An understanding of press releases.
    • Possess the skills necessary to work effectively in a culture of rapid change.
    • An understanding of HTML, JavaScript, blogging tools,  Hootsuite, Google Analytics, Word Press and creative tools such as Photoshop/illustrator preferred.
    • Good oral/written communication and presentation skills.
    • Strong MS Office skills.
