    Job Summary


    As a member of the Chief Marketing Officer’s Leadership Team, and in collaboration with the overall Marketing team, the person will be responsible for the company’s website including, driving traffic to the site and generating leads while optimizing the site’s overall presentation and ‘merchandising’ of our travel programs (i.e., memorable journeys.) This individual will play a pivotal role in driving growth of the company’s digital presence and interactive marketing plans





    List of Responsibilities

    • Construct a website road map including UI/UX and operational improvements.
    • Rapidly execute, test and optimize the website and merchandising to improve marketing ROI
    • Increase digital customer engagement and acquisition
    • Lead a team of web producers that execute changes on the site.
    • Work cross-functionally with other business units to advance strategic initiatives.
    • Define key measures of success and provide transparency into performance of those initiatives
    • Assist with defining the ROI of all proposed plans and report on the actual ROI post-implementation based on a rigorous system of performance and attribution
    • Present KPI’s in weekly and monthly reporting meetings to senior management, the product marketing team and channel owners
    • Generate and implement test strategies to drive qualified traffic and revenue-building activities in support of the annual Marketing Plan
    • Remain keenly aware of new consumer behavior, monitor competitive and market trends to drive new features and work closely with the sales team/Customer Service to develop innovative solutions for marketing Vantage’s products.
    • Provide competitive analysis on all current and future product/feature offerings.
    • Manage and represent to external partners and vendors when defining requirements that require integration with third-parties.
    • Work closely with overall database function to drive synergy and share insights on customer file along with developing a multi-channel view of the customer.
    • Manage outside vendor to execute search engine optimization/marketing (SEO/SEM) programs, including reporting and analysis.
    • Collaborate with web developers, designers, and copywriters on SEO strategies
    • Understand and report on traffic trends, funnel analysis, customer behavior.
    • Highly collaborative role requiring successful interaction with internal constituents and vendor partners.
    • Develop, attract, hire, manage and motivates a skilled team


    Required Skills and Experience

    • BA/BS with significant coursework in digital marketing, ecommerce and analytics.
    • 8+ years’ experience in digital marketing, with at least 4+ years in digital marketing at the strategic, leadership level.
    • Experience in SEO/SEM best practices and driving visitors to website and conversion.
    • “Sales orientation” – understands the website is there to generate revenue.
    • Website redesign experience mandatory
    • Strong backround in lead capture through Social Media and videos
    • Previous management experience with outside e-commerce partners.
    • Knowledge of and comfort with a variety of online tools, inclusive of content management systems, CRM (sitecore), salesforce and web analytics
    • Creative thinking, exceptional analytical skills coupled with solid business foundation, particularly in digital marketing.
    • An innovative, positive, resilient and self-directed attitude – interested in “figuring out” solutions.
    • Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills
