    Job Summary


    We are currently seeking a Sr. RPG developer who is primarily responsible for the creation, integration and maintenance of our in house applications. You must be comfortable working with internal and external staff as well as taking the lead to drive projects to completion.

    • Plan, analyze, design, implement, maintain and support I-Series applications
    • Design, implement and support multi-tiered enterprise applicationsProduce scalable, robust, high-quality code
    • Production support and troubleshooting
    • Identify opportunities, make recommendations, and implement system performance/optimization and enhancements
    • Work independently with minimal supervision and also share your expertise with team members
    • Work with third party software and implementations
    • Communicate technical issues or project details to Team Manager and Technical teams


    Required Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in RPG/ILE programming with experience in functions, modules and service programs.​
    • Extensive knowledge of OS/​400, CL, SQL, sub files, databases and system design.​
    • .NET/SQL experience is a plus


    Required Experience:

    • 10+ years RPG/ILE hands on development experience
    • Ability to develop and evaluate technical solutions that best meet the needs of the business.
    • An ability to manage from start to finish small to medium size project requests with minimal supervision
    • Travel experience a plus
    • Strong communication and documentation skills
    • Strong analytic and problem solving skills
    • Ability to handle several assignments simultaneously
    • Ability to complete tasks meeting project plan schedules and deadlines
