Job Summary – Product Marketing Director in Boston, MA

 

This is an exciting role for a detail oriented product marketer who has an enthusiasm for understanding why people travel and what they love about a destination.  The successful candidate will be the key liaison between the marketing team and the product and operations teams, ensuring the Vantage Deluxe World Travel experience is accurately and effectively represented in all marketing materials.

Responsibilities

 

Job Responsibilities for Product Marketing Manager

                                                   

  • Coordinate new product asset development and marketing launch
  • Liaise between marketing and other teams within the organization (e.g. buyers) to ensure products are marketed accurately at all times
  • Conduct competitive analysis and create product strategy documents in collaboration with buyers
  • Develop and maintain feature sets
  • Review and proof marketing assets to ensure products are accurately represented
  • Coordinate and communicate product enhancements and changes
  • Provide marketing support for operations teams
  • Coordinate call center training for new products
  • Curate customer reviews
  • Assist with Other Corporate Product promotions (e.g. insurance products, president’s club)

 

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in a marketing discipline
  • Must have 2-3 years product marketing experience either in an agency or internal marketing team
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proven ability to multitask. Must be deadline oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Fast, flexible, cooperative work style with ability to reprioritize at a moment’s notice.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to be a liaison between multiple groups throughout the organization
  • Comfortable operating in a matrixed organization
  • Team player
  • Must be a problem solver who is able to work independently
  • Proficiency working with content management and project management/workflow systems such as Catalog Studio, Plan Control, Wrike, etc.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Adobe CS5; basic familiarity with InDesign a plus
  • International travel experience on both a personal and professional level preferred
  • Familiarity with travel industry is a plus
