Job Summary –Guest services Specialist in Boston, MA & Remote

 

This position is part of the companywide Revenue Generating Team. As a Guest Services Specialist, you will handle inbound calls, outbound calls, and email and chat correspondences. You will influence customers’ perception of our company and product with every customer interaction by collaborating with multiple teams internally and globally to resolve customer issues, fulfill requests, and drive brand loyalty, while increasing sales.

Base + highly competitive commission plan

Responsibilities

 

Job Responsibilities for Guest Services Specialist

  • Answer and resolve customer concerns about reservations, travel, promotions, and the company via phone, email and chat.
  • Resolve all inquiries that require research or additional information by utilizing the appropriate resources and provide timely follow up as necessary.
  • Maintains a good team rapport with various departments and personnel across the company to resolve guests questions that arise pre, post or on-tour.
  • Consistently meet or exceed expected performance and service quality goals.
  • Maintain a friendly, courteous, service-oriented, professional, outgoing, and customer service oriented mindset throughout all interactions with guests. Remain calm and professional through difficult conversations.
  • Maintain knowledge base by attending weekly training for new implementations (promotions, sales goals, procedures, accounting, and products) in order to ensure professional service to our guests.
  • Identify and close sales/upsell opportunities including travel protection, cabin upgrades, air upgrades and other tour features, through inbound calls; online chat and email,
  • Other duties to be assigned or modified to meet changing business needs and requirements.

Schedule

Four Weekdays: 11:00am-8:00pm EST

One Weekend Day (Saturday or Sunday): 10:00am-6:00pm EST

Rotating holidays

Possibility to work from home
