Job Summary – Revenue Manager in Boston, MA

 

We are looking for an experienced Revenue Manager to join our growing team in Downtown Boston, MA.  We prefer 5+ years’ of revenue management experience.  A Bachelor degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, or related field.

 

As a member of the finance and accounting team, the Revenue Manager will monitor reservations, track inventory, and implement appropriate pricing strategy to maximize revenue for the company's entire portfolio of land, sea, and air travel.  This role will report to the Director of Revenue Management and have regular interaction with the CFO.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities for Revenue Manager

 

  • Define revenue opportunities through sophisticated analysis on product/channel/market dynamics/consumer behaviors.  
  • Facilitate the long-term and short-term plans for pricing and promotion deals.
  • Partner daily with cross function teams to stimulate the demand on weak products and make recommendations for P&L impact.
  • Assist in annual budgeting, monthly forecasting process, analytics, reports by closely working with Planning and Analysis team.

 

 

Qualifications

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelors -Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics required
  • 1 year of revenue management experience required
  • Experience managing a budget of $30+ million required
  • 2 years of travel/hospitality experience preferred
  • Software Advanced Excel (pivot tables, formatting, v-look ups)
  • Knack for resolution and being analytical
  • Working autonomously
  • Ability to complete projects under very tight deadlines and frequent changes
